Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These are the terms for using Bakery. By signing in you agree to them. They are short and written plainly on purpose, because a private app for two dozen friends does not need eight pages of boilerplate.
What Bakery is
A free, invite-only training log for small groups. It is an independent side project run by one person, not a company and not a product with a support desk. There is no charge, and there is no promise that it will still exist next year.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, and you need an invite from someone already in a bakery. One account per person. Do not share your sign-in link with anyone, because whoever opens it becomes you.
Your content stays yours
Everything you post, your workouts, photos, measurements and captions, belongs to you. You grant only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, and to display it to the members of your bakery according to the visibility you chose. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. Your content is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train any model.
How to behave
This app involves photographs of people's bodies, so the rules matter more than usual.
- Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have clearly agreed to appear in your bakery.
- Do not screenshot, download, repost or otherwise take another member's photos or measurements outside the group. What is shared here was shared here.
- No harassment, no cruelty about anyone's body, no sexual content involving anyone who has not consented to it, and nothing involving minors.
- Do not upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Do not attempt to reach other members' data, probe the service for weaknesses, or automate access to it.
Whoever runs your bakery can remove posts and members from it. Accounts that break these rules can be removed entirely, without notice.
This is not medical advice
Bakery records numbers and pictures. It does not give health, medical, nutritional or fitness advice, and nothing in it is a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Exercise carries risk. Decisions about your training, your diet and your body are yours, and if something hurts, talk to an actual clinician rather than a cartoon cake.
Availability
The service is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, no guarantee that data will never be lost, and no promise that any feature will keep working. It may change or shut down at any point. Export your data from Settings if you want a copy you control, and keep your own copy of photos that matter to you.
Ending it
You can delete your account from Settings whenever you like, which removes your content including the image files. Access may also be ended if these terms are broken, or if the project simply stops. If it is going to shut down, members will be given reasonable notice in the app so they can export first.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bakery and the person running it are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost data or content exposed by another member breaking these rules. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Since the service is free, no refund is possible or implied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
These terms may be updated. If something material changes, the date at the top will change and members will be told in the app. Continuing to use Bakery after that means you accept the new version.
